I am shopping for a 12 vdc windlass. I have been looking at 3 models:

Lewmar Concept 1
Lofrans Progress I
Maxwell Freedom 800

I have been unable to find any consumer rating or test information and would
appreciate comments.

I believe Practical Sailor did such an evaluation some time ago - if
not, why not?
