Discussion and technical support related to USRP, UHD, RFNoC
View all threadsHello,
I will use Usrp NI2901 for implementing a radar system. For better range
resolution I should have good pulsewidth enough.
Do you have any idea about maximum limit of UsrpNI2901's pulsewidth limit.
Thanks. Regards.
Emre
Hi Emre,
Would you be able to post your analysis of the NI2901’s functional specifications and how they relate to the kind(s) of pulse(s) you’d like to use for the radar system? That would narrow down the scope of your question and allow list readers to provide some better answers.
Looks like there are some useful links here [1]. I’d start with the specs listed. Not sure if the schematic is available, so you may need to crack one open to see what the transmit cct looks like and from that deduce its characteristics.
For example, if you an example from a textbook or paper that you are going to use as the basis of your system, maybe that can be provided to the list.
Good luck,
steven
