The IMA Sculpture Park Celebrates 10 Years at Roche Harbor
Call to Artists for Sculpture
New Perspectives: A New Decade at the Park

The San Juan Islands Museum and Sculpture Park, or IMA, is located on San
Juan Island.  The Sculpture Park is on the Westside of the Island at Roche
Harbor, and the Museum is located in Friday Harbor near the landing where
ferries stop on their way to and from the Washington State mainland and
Victoria B.C. on Vancouver Island.

Just north of Seattle, Washington and South of Vancouver, British Columbia,
the San Juan Islands were chosen as one of the top two destinations in the
world for 2011, by the New York Times January edition.

Both the IMA Museum and the IMA Sculpture Park have become visual and
virtual jewels, delighting visitors from all over the world traveling to the
Northwest area and British Columbia, Canada

Adjacent to Roche Harbor on the Westside of San Juan Island, the 19 acre IMA
Sculpture Park has over 87 sited sculptures. Mapped and timed plotted paths
are scattered throughout the Park, in open spaces, through quiet woods, and
along Westcott Bay.  A Park Pond bird sanctuary has Tuck Langland¹s Dancer
on a Bench,  (South Bend IN) located at the Pond¹s apex.  Langland¹s piece
was juried in for the 2010 opening season.
