Another or the same plover was present along the St. Lawrence  Aug 17-18
just west of Trois-Rivieres in Quebec. If the bird headed west at some
point on Aug 18 or 19 that would have given it a day or more to reach the
Toronto area.

The Common Ringed Plover just flew back in to the same spot that Jean described in the email chain I'm replying to.

Island with gulls on it in middle of cell 2 in Tommy Thompson Park, Toronto Waterfront at the end of Leslie St.

The Common Ringed Plover was still present in the same spot described below, at around 8 pm tonight when we left. It's probably worth looking for in the morning for anyone who didn't get a chance to see it today. Good luck to anyone searching for it!!

The Common Ringed Plover was still present in the same spot described below, at around 8 pm tonight when we left. It's probably worth looking for in the morning for anyone who didn't get a chance to see it today. Good luck to anyone searching for it!!
