Deadline for RC applications June 1!

Dear TFLA members,

Just a reminder—the deadline for applications for regional coordinators is Friday, June 1.  We are accepting applications in the regions of Big Bend, Big Country, Panhandle, East Texas, Central Texas, and South Texas.

Regional coordinators:
—serve a two-year term.
—attend TFLA events, like the Summer Institute and the Annual Fall Conference.
—present at the TFLA Annual Fall Conference.
—have experience presenting and speaking to a group.
—are able to use technology to share and communicate.
—help organize and direct a regional workshop for local teachers at least once during their term.
—are familiar with the newly adopted TEKS, ACTFL proficiency guidelines, and world readiness standards.

TFLA will cover registration to the Summer Institute for RCs and will provide a stipend to cover travel costs and lodging.

We are especially in need of candidates from the Big Bend region.
