Salida Cycling Club (SCC) will be holding it's Annual Membership Soiree from 5:00PM to 7:30PM on Thursday April 7, 2016 at Elevation Beer Company. Food will be provided by Poco. Poco’s delicious, fresh, healthy food and outstanding Elevation Beer will be available to all new or renewing 2016 SCC Members. Each sponsor of SCC is given a SCC Family Membership, and are invited as members. You will be able to sign up as a 2016 SCC Member at the Membership Soiree. We will be taking cash, check and credit card as forms of payment. Regular Individual Membership costs $30. Family/Household Membership costs $50. Come down, join the club, and mix it up with your fellow cyclists/foodies/beer lovers. Please spread the word! Invite your friends and acquaintances who are interested in supporting cycling in Salida and the Upper Arkansas River Valley. Below are highlights of some SCC supported activities: Ride your bike. Participate in a regular group ride. Group rides are open to anyone and are offered 2- 3 times a week during daylight savings time. Find a group ride that meets your riding style. Volunteer and Race The Salida Classic and other events SCR hosts. Pick up trash on HWY 291. Volunteer or Race the Vapor Trail 125. Build trails with the Salida Mountain Trails program. Volunteer at a Race Through Time Aid Station. Race the FIBark Mountain Bike Race. Participate in other cycling related events including: Tenderfoot Triathlon, Salida Police Bicycle Rodeo, "Ride Right, Cycle Safe", Pole-Pedal-Paddle, the Crest Crank and FibArk Cruiser Crit, Vapor Trail, and others. Socialize at the Holiday Party and Membership Soiree Coach Salida Cycling, our high school mountain bike race team. Get involved with the Chaffee County Mentors. • Help grow Junior Racers Program.
