A female hummingbird has visited our feeder (which I just hadn't gotten around to taking down) four times this weekend -- three times yesterday (10/1) and once this morning so far (10/2). It looks like a female Ruby-throated -- white spot behind the eye, no trace of rufous on the flanks. This is by far the latest date for RTHU at our home. John Weeks North Granby
