Greg Hanisek just called to report 4 Red Crossbills and Rough-legged Hawk seen from the nature center parking lot. The crossbills were in the scraggly pines across from the parking lot looking south towards LI Sound.
Warning:the bad news, it’s very icy and slippery and Greg took a tumble!! The good news, he’s fine!! So take it slow and be careful!
