Harlequins Family,Rugby Colorado has created a new league this Spring to bridge the gap between 7's and 15's for boys that age out of Youth Rugby and prior to HS rugby. There are currently only 5 teams running in this league.
Middle school games will be Wednesday nights and are scheduled from March 7 through April 25, which coincides perfectly with the beginning of the TRY league, which will start during the first week of May. We will have 4 matches total and Wooden Bowl tournament at the end.
We are working on practice times and locations, but likely count on one night practice and a Sunday practice, possibly at McAuliffe Middle School in Park Hill, City Park, or North High, depending on availability. I will send out information as we are able to confirm.
What we need ASAP is a response indicating 1) My child is in! or 2) My child is interested but not fully committed. We’re trying to get a head count by this Wednesday, January 10, so please let me know by then so we can see if we will be able to field a side. I apologize for the short notice but this a new program that Rugby Colorado is trying out.

All,I have finally received the update from Angus on the schedule and times for the Middle School 15's program.303 Rugby has committed to putting a team together. Good Morning and Happy New Year!
Please find attached the initial 2018 Middle School Schedule which is also published here
http://rugbycolorado.usetopscore.com/2018-schedules
If you need to make changes to playing dates, please notify us at execadmin@rugbycolorado.com by Jan 15. We are bulk uploading all schedules to referees and trainers starting Jan 16.
As we embark on a new venture, please take the time to read the attached regulations, review your coaching philosophies and playing environments and make sure that they are appropriate for middle school age players.
Abuse of players, trainers, referees, parents and coaches is not acceptable and will be dealt with severely through the Disciplinary Committee. This includes, and is not limited to, swearing, casual threats of violence and similar inappropriate behaviors that we have sadly experienced recently.
Please make sure you are up to date on safe sport protocols. There are significant resources at USAR and NFHS to help you create a safe sporting environment and it is essential that ALL of your coaches are up to date and informed.

This Middle School 15s league will be great for growth of rugby in Colorado and I look forward to hearing positive feedback from players and parents about the playing experiences their children are enjoying.
Good luck in 2018
Yours
