05/05/14 - Milford, Mondo Ponds -- 4:50 PM; I saw the Yellow-throated
Warbler again.

From Phil Rusch:
05/05/14 - Chaplin, Pumpkin Hill Rd -- before work in the morning; at
least 4 Cerulean Warblers and 1 Hooded Warbler.

From Fran and Tom Holloway:
05/05/14 - Middletown, Guida Parm Conservation Area (just north of
Durham on Route 17) --  9:00 AM, One beautiful, cooperative singing
male HOODED WARBLER, along the  main trail.  Also we heard another one
in the distance.

05/05/14 - Bethany, Lake Chamberlain -- 11 species of warbler
including 1 Blackburnian Warbler.

From Fran and Tom Holloway:
05/05/14 - Middletown, Guida Parm Conservation Area (just north of
Durham on Route 17) -- 9:00 AM; one beautiful, cooperative singing
male HOODED WARBLER, along the main trail.  Also we heard another one
in the distance.

05/05/14 - Wilton, NRVT Trail -- 2 Blackburnian Warblers.

05/05/14 - Old Saybrook -- Yellow-crowned Night Heron, in the Plum
Bank Marsh.  I have never seen one anywhere east of Stratford/Milford.

05/05/14 - East Hartford, Rentschler Field -- 1 UPLAND SANDPIPER.

05/05/14 - Wolcott residence -- 1 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW foraging under
feeders.

05/04/14 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- Orchard Oriole on the
white flowering trees near the parking lot.

NORTHERN GOSHAWK.

BOBOLINKS and 5 AMERICAN PIPIT.

05/03/14 - Durham, Durham Meadows, White's Farm -- BOBOLINKS have
returned  and were seen singing on Saturday.

05/02/14 - Somers, NCLT property on Durkee Road -- 1 VIRGINIA RAIL
flushed from 2 feet in front of me, and flew 20 feet up the foot path,
disappearing back into the flooded field.
