Are you a Washington State artist that would love to show and sell your work at a retail location? We have a number of openings at the 253 Collective artists cooperative. If you are interested in showing and selling your work to the local community, join the collective. For more detailed information see the document attached to this email. To be considered as a 253 Collective member send five samples of your best work to 253Collective@gmail.com. The work must represent the type of work you plan to sell at the gallery shop. *The benefits and commitments to joining the 253 Collective:* *Commitments* - Pay a low membership fee of $20 a month - Work one Friday or Saturday a month to staff the retail shop - Attend monthly meetings frequently during the year - Licenced art business - Help promote the group by doing one small job including, art rotation, checking emails, setting up for a show, contacting interested artists, contributing ideas, etc. *Benefits* - A very low monthly membership fee - Have your art featured on our website and retail space during the year - Opportunity to work with local businesses and the community supporting the arts and collaborating with the 253 Collective group - Commission free sales - Opportunity to help shape an arts group with your ideas and contributions - Access to a retail shop space to meet clients, hold exhibits and special sales events - Free advertising and marketing for your art business - Networking with other local artists - A web page on the 253 collective website www.253Collective.com 1901 S.
