Community Park

I regularly walk my dogs at our community park so I get to see all of the examples of creative play from the kids who use the park. Unfortunately I also see the poor condition the park is frequently left in. Trash is not picked up, clothes and toys are left lying around and that creative play sometimes transitions into damage and misuse of the park property.
Last week the park was especially trashy so a special thank you to the person(s) who cleaned up the park over the weekend. Trash and abandoned clothes were picked up, abandoned toys are neatly stacked on a park bench and rocks and sticks were removed from the playground area. After that nature came by with very high winds so anything that was left is probably on the east fence now.
We expect our pet owners to be responsible and pick up after our pets, but we should also expect our parents to pick up after their kids. Or even better, teach those kids to take that responsibility themselves when you cannot be there with them. It is also important to guide them on on being creative in their play without damaging the community property
