Also, as I had mentioned previously, San Francisco and Santa Clara County are accepting additional plaintiffs to their lawsuit they filed against the Trump administration, which seeks to invalidate the Protecting Americans from Invasion Executive Order by declaring it unconstitutional. The lawsuit is seeking a preliminary and permanent injunction enjoining the defendants from enforcing Section 17 of the EO or taking any other action in furtherance of any withholding or conditioning of federal funds based on Section 17 of the EO or taking enforcement actions against the named plaintiffs based on the laws and policies identified in their complaint (which you can view here: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.cand.444175/gov.uscourts.cand.444175.1.0_1.pdf). The lawsuit also seeks to enjoin the defendants from withholding any funding pause related to Attorney General Bondi's memo. If you are interested in joining this lawsuit you must have a sanctuary ordinance and receive DOJ funding. The current deadline to join the lawsuit is tomorrow (though there may be wiggle room to add more plaintiffs).
