Thank you for joining the call. The Instructor ATC Portal Instructions we presented during the call is attached. We didn’t have anyone directed to take detailed meeting minutes, but here is a high-level summary below.

Topic: Instructor ATC Portal

Teresa presented the new Instructor ATC portal . After presenting the demo, HDMI LA received the below feedback:

1.                       The portal should record the individual person who submitted the request, so Teresa can contact the person after the request is completed.
   

2.                       The portal should send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the request.
   

3.                       Send a notification email to Instructor ATC users whenever Teresa updates the Annual Audit Tracking Sheet. (lower priority)
   

4.                       Trudi and Teresa will share the feedback with Brad and discuss the level of difficulty to make these changes.
   

Topic: RRT Devices in China

Dat suggested for the next round of RRT, Instructor ATCs agree to plan ahead, and new RRT devices will be shipped into China. Concerns were brought up if we ship new devices into China, Instructor ATCs won’t be able to correlate them with other new devices outside of China.

After the meeting, Rob has an idea to help with the correlation concern:

Send all the new RRT devices to one Instructor ATC in China, they do the correlation testing, and then keep one or two in China and ship the rest to the appropriate ATC outside China.

In this meeting we will demo the new reporting portal and discuss the RRT testing issue with products moving in and out of China.  The last recommendation from Panasonic’s PowerPoint was from Sony:

•  We’re not sure if this can be possible because it is hard to handle import/export operation by third party, i.e., HDMI LA in this case. But if it can be possible, it is helpful to all ATCs.

•  We agree with this idea.

•  Plus, HDMI LA might be able to buy DUTs instead of selected China ATC? (Buy 4 DUTs, send 2 DUTs to 2 of 3 Instructor ATCs for correlation, rotate 2 DUTs in China)

HDMI LA has issues with getting products in and out of China as well, so we’d like to discuss Proposal #2.

Hi Teramoto-san,

My understanding is there is not an official instructor ATC in China but some of the Instructor ATCs have “branch” ATCs in China.  Perhaps Instructor ATCs could designate one of them to receive the RRT units and correlate them.  Just an idea for consideration.

Dear Rob-san,

Initial correlation check for RRTR-DUTs is verified by each Instructor ATC individually.
(You say that “Send all the new RRT devices to one Instructor ATC”, but it is not needed.)

And all of branch ATCs in China are RRT tested ATCs that cannot be designated as Instructor ATC.
So, your idea is inconsistent and not work well.

Topic: Instructor ATC Portal

Teresa presented the new Instructor ATC portal . After presenting the demo, HDMI LA received the below feedback:

1.                  The portal should record the individual person who submitted the request, so Teresa can contact the person after the request is completed.
   

2.                  The portal should send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the request.
   

3.                  Send a notification email to Instructor ATC users whenever Teresa updates the Annual Audit Tracking Sheet. (lower priority)
   

4.                  Trudi and Teresa will share the feedback with Brad and discuss the level of difficulty to make these changes.
   

Topic: RRT Devices in China

Dat suggested for the next round of RRT, Instructor ATCs agree to plan ahead, and new RRT devices will be shipped into China. Concerns were brought up if we ship new devices into China, Instructor ATCs won’t be able to correlate them with other new devices outside of China.

After the meeting, Rob has an idea to help with the correlation concern:

Send all the new RRT devices to one Instructor ATC in China, they do the correlation testing, and then keep one or two in China and ship the rest to the appropriate ATC outside China.

In this meeting we will demo the new reporting portal and discuss the RRT testing issue with products moving in and out of China.  The last recommendation from Panasonic’s PowerPoint was from Sony:

•  We’re not sure if this can be possible because it is hard to handle import/export operation by third party, i.e., HDMI LA in this case. But if it can be possible, it is helpful to all ATCs.

•  We agree with this idea.

•  Plus, HDMI LA might be able to buy DUTs instead of selected China ATC? (Buy 4 DUTs, send 2 DUTs to 2 of 3 Instructor ATCs for correlation, rotate 2 DUTs in China)

HDMI LA has issues with getting products in and out of China as well, so we’d like to discuss Proposal #2.

Hi Usuki-san,

I understand how it currently works.

The issue with China is that we can only ship new, unboxed units into China (since “used” units tend to get rejected by customs).  So, not sure how to get around that if the units are unboxed and tested at an Instructor ATC outside of China and shipped into China.  My suggestion was made to try and help solve the shipping issues with China.  Perhaps Instructor ATCs can designate a China ATC to receive and perform initial correlation for the units which stay in China?

If that idea doesn't work for Instructor ATCs, perhaps they can come up with an alternative solution.

Dear Rob-san,

Initial correlation check for RRTR-DUTs is verified by each Instructor ATC individually.
(You say that “Send all the new RRT devices to one Instructor ATC”, but it is not needed.)

And all of branch ATCs in China are RRT tested ATCs that cannot be designated as Instructor ATC.
So, your idea is inconsistent and not work well.

My understanding is there is not an official instructor ATC in China but some of the Instructor ATCs have “branch” ATCs in China.  Perhaps Instructor ATCs could designate one of them to receive the RRT units and correlate them.  Just an idea for consideration.

Topic: Instructor ATC Portal

Teresa presented the new Instructor ATC portal . After presenting the demo, HDMI LA received the below feedback:

1. The portal should record the individual person who submitted the request, so Teresa can contact the person after the request is completed.

2.                       The portal should send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the request.
   

3.                       Send a notification email to Instructor ATC users whenever Teresa updates the Annual Audit Tracking Sheet. (lower priority)
   

4.                       Trudi and Teresa will share the feedback with Brad and discuss the level of difficulty to make these changes.
   

Topic: RRT Devices in China

Dat suggested for the next round of RRT, Instructor ATCs agree to plan ahead, and new RRT devices will be shipped into China. Concerns were brought up if we ship new devices into China, Instructor ATCs won’t be able to correlate them with other new devices outside of China.

After the meeting, Rob has an idea to help with the correlation concern:

Send all the new RRT devices to one Instructor ATC in China, they do the correlation testing, and then keep one or two in China and ship the rest to the appropriate ATC outside China.
