I would not want to rely on legal advice that was over 55 years
old and has not been updated.  While perhaps an interesting read
and a good historical perspective, much has changed since those
times.  This is especially true in respect to both US and
international liability laws.

OPA90, and the 1976 International Convention on Limitation of
Liability for Maritime Claims are a couple of the bigger ones.
There are many others as well - some based on new case law and
some based on statutory changes through the years.
