Jane and I are back in St. Thomas visiting our daughter. "Hmmmmm" we say. "What if we brought Heart of Gold down here after November?" Since I have only my Blackberry on this trip, perhaps one of you could do me the favor of checking the route and milage from the Yellow Creek entrance to the tenn-tom to Mobile Bay and from there to St. Thomas. We have a 700 mile range. But would like to Island hop in short spurts. May also want safe stopovers so we could fly out occaisionally. We've done the direct trip from Ft Meyers to mobile and up but it has been years and I don't have my laptop/charting software with me this trip. Thanks. We're just having ideas at this point.
