National Coalition for Literacy *Advocating for Adult Education, English Language Learning & Adult and Family Literacy* NCL Board Members... As you know, our board meeting next month is *Wednesday, May 14th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. EST*. It is our biannual in-person/virtual board meeting. We will forego our usual meeting agenda and focus the entire 2 hours on strategic planning. I hope you will all make it a priority to attend either in person or virtually. It will be held at ALA's DC location at 1615 New Hampshire Ave NW, First Floor, Washington, DC 20009. Obviously, I hope that if you are attending in person, that you'll join us afterward for the NCL reception on the Hill, which will be from 4-5:30 p.m. and will also attend the all-day Member meeting the following day. Of course, you can participate in the member meeting virtually, also. What I need to know is if you will be attending in person, participating virtually or not able to attend. Please let me know by Friday, May 2nd. I need to hear from all of you on all three events: 1) board meeting, 2) reception, 3) member meeting. For those who have asked, we don't have an agreement with a hotel, but there are plenty to choose from near Dupont Circle. The Lyle <https://www.lyledc.com/> was recommended by ALA.
