Now that the rainy season has begun, its time to think of indoor activities. If you love everything Japanese or have ever thought about learning Japanese temari, the opportunity is next Saturday and Sunday, Oct 20 and 21 at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center in Tacoma.

This workshop caters to the beginner - absolutely no needle and thread experience needed. Recommended for ages teens to seniors. Needles are large and threads used are sizable to make it easy to stitch into the soft sphere. The workshop required no preparation from you (except for a bagged lunch and drink) - all materials are included and detailed illustrated handouts will make it easy for you to make more temari at home.

For more details, please see attached flyer and syllabus. To register or for more information please contact Kathy
