Hello all, I am looking for experiences with this method of cutlass bearing replacement, good or bad. I have a 1 1/2" shaft, 2 3/8" OD bearing in a strut (not a log) that needs replacing. I am a pretty good mechanic but have never tried this before. I would likely make my own version of the tool instead of paying the $400 price tag.
