I have a Delco Remy 145 amp alternator from which I would like to drive a tachometer. How can I tell which terminal to connect the alternator to? Richard Allen 42 Bristol trawler "Sunshine Girl" Englewood, FL

If you post the model number of the alternator we can probably tell you what terminal to use, if there is one. If there is none, as Rudy said, an alternator shop can add one for you.
