Hi! On Wednesday, 12 May, in the morning, Alain Réjean heard, and then found, a Hooded Warbler. Eventually, everyone at the station had a good and long view of this splendid male. The observation was made at the research station of the Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory,at Cabot Head, on the Georgian Bay. This morning was very productive, with 20 species of warblers observed and a total of 85 species observed. The following day, May the 13th, Larry Roszell saw a Great Egret flying over the Bay, going west. And on Firday, May 14, a Northern Mockingbird was seen close to the banding lab. Cabot Head Research Station is located near Dyer’s Bay, on the Bruce Peninsula. Acces to the station is limited. Please contact us for a visit.
