Would like ideas from others who have this same generator and have hooked it
up to an extended run fuel tank or fuel supply.
I do not like the solution that has an ob tank hooked up to a cap on top of
the fuel tank, in which the cover has been fitted with an OB quick fitting.
Should this fitting develop a leak, raw gasoline would run down onto a hot
motor and present a fire hazard.
The ideal solution would preserve the internal fuel tank fittings so that the
generator could be operated with either the internal tank or the extended
tank. I have seen hookups where the internal tank is disconnected in order to
hook up the external one.
What have others done? Comments? Martin Veiner
