Note: While I encourage everyone who submits sightings for this report
to join CTBirds and post the sightings there (from which I take them
for the report), I suspect some people will hesitate because they
don't want to receive all the messages from CTBirds. However,
understand that one of the options you have with CTBirds is to set the
nomail flag. While this is generally used when you will be away for a
while, it is also possible to simply keep it on all the time and read
CTBirds via the archive.

Extralimital Note: The IVORY GULL in New York was present again today.
From Donna Lorello:
2/26 - Branford -- WHITE-WINGED DOVE still here even after the
snowfall we had last night, although he had a late start as many of
the birds seemed to have - arriving about 7:40 a.m. and not staying
very long after feeding heavily on mixed seed. I will keep posting
notes regarding his appearances and I am so very happy so many have
been able to see/photo him. It's been my pleasure getting to meet so
many fine folks.
From Kyle Pias with Isabel Gottlieb:
2/26 - Hartford, Goodwin Park -- 1 male and 1 female RUSTY BLACKBIRD

From John Eykelhoff:

2/26 - Litchfield, N. Shore Rd (Bantam Lake's Keeler Cove) -- 2
