These will fit into the regular 12v fixture that we have using the
two contact bulbs?

West Marine and Boat US both carry a converter bases for use with
these type bulbs - packaged by anchor ( see page 65 of the anchor
atalog ) - but I do not think they are in the boating catalogs - may be
wrong about boat US catalog -- and they may be in their new catalog when it
comes out - they sell for $ 4.89 +/- and the 14 v bulbs from the other
supplier I found sell for $ 2.80 ea. -- which for a dz lights would still be
under $ 100 - not a bad deal considering alternatives ......
Maybe a few of us could club together to get an additional quantity
discount ( I hope that suggestion does not violate the list rules ! ) Lets
check the prices/availability sometime next week .
