I have owned several of the Force 10 stoves and they are exellent--my wife is
not home right now, or she would tell you how to get the good crust on
sourdough bread.
One item missed is the reason for the dissapearing door--it is not only
space--but balance. Many of the force 10 stoves are gimbled--if you open the
oven door and leave it out, this will tip the stove about 20 degrees--not
good. Having the door under the stove keeps the balance when the stove is
gimbled.
