SNIP:
"Brokerage boats are now on the market for months, not days."

A number of boats we have followed on YachtWorld have been on the market
for years, some as long as 6 years. I am talking about Nordic Tugs,
American Tugs, and Ocean Alexanders.

Lets face it, like the housing market, the boat market has been inflated and
out of control for quite some time.  Buyers were paying top dollar for
anything that floats.  Banks were writing loans for everyone.  A major
"correction" is required to get things back on track again.  We are seeing
it in the housing market but I haven't seen much of it in the boat market
just yet.  As such, I suspect that the boat market in general will continue
to founder for quite some time.
