Hi all,
We arrived at Mobile yesterday, completing a 3-month tour of the
Tenn-Tom, Tennessee, and Cumberland rivers. Our journal for this is posted at

I am not sure how we missed seeing Charles on the Tennessee, from what
I can determine, we must have been at Goosepond around the same time. Almost
all of the boaters we encountered were courteous and mindful of their wakes,
including many of those cruisers built in east Tennessee. Lockmasters as well
were pleasant to work with, but we must give the Tenn-Tom lockmasters the
highest marks for cooperativeness and friendliness.
We are looking forward to the AGLCA meeting this weekend at Fairhope.
