Count me as another of the many who'll miss the Trawlers and Trawlering List, Georgs. I can't remember when I joined, but I'm quite sure it was before I sold Bluewater Books & Charts in 2000. That means T&T has carried me through a bunch of trawler-type boats--a GB32, GB42, Nordic Tug 32, Nordhavn 47, and an American Tug 34. It was a different world back when T&T got started, and this group was a wonderful resource for information for all of us who had trawlers. It has a real sense of community. Over the years, more and more trawler-focused groups came into being. Two that I have hands-on personal experience moderating are the Nordhavn Owners Group and the American Tug Owners Group, both hosted by Groups.io and both restricted to owners of those brands. The narrower focus has advantages and disadvantages, but both groups are growing every year and thriving, and the Group.io functionality makes it easy to include pictures, wiring diagrams, and other documents. Anyone thinking of starting a replacement for T&T would do well to look at the Groups.io platform. (No connection with Groups.io other than being a very happy longtime user.) Thanks to you, Georgs, and all the other T&T members who've made this a great group for so many years!
