Note:  A special word from Frank Gallo about birding at Milford Point
at this season.

A reminder to birders.  Please visit the tern bar only at mid tide or
below.  Mid-tide to high, there's not enough room outside the fensing
to proceed without disturbing the birds.  We really appreciate
everyone's efforts to limit disturbance to nesting and migrating terns
and shorebirds.  Also, the beach to the east of the bar is private,
please do not go east of Francis Street.  We are trying to maintain
cordial relations with our many neighbors.  Thanks again

From Andy Rzeznikiewicz via Don Morgan:
6/26 - Pomfret, CAS Sanctuary -- the regular banding crew captured an
adult Lawrence's Warbler along with an adult female Blue-winged
Warbler and an  immature.  They were captured at the same time and
appeared to be a family  unit.  While being banded the bird was
documented with photographs.  The bird was captured in a net near the
Airline Trail where it passes through  the CAS property about 1/2 mile
south of Needles Eye Road.

From Frank Gallo:
6/25 - Milfor Point, Milford -- An adult Roseate Tern was still among
the many (50+) Common Terns on the outer bar at Milford Point from
7:30-8:30.
