An EYEBROW which extends forward over the windshield by a foot or so which
will keep rain from coming through the windshield unless you have high wind
with
the rain.  This EYEBROW will allow you to keep the windshield open and the
fresh breeze flowing for a far more comfortable cruise during inclement
weather.

Many days of rain last fall while cruising the rivers between Chicago and
Mobile convinced me that is a "must have" in the near future.

I would also consider a hard top for the flybridge and wonder why trawlers do
not have these. A hardtop may be more expensive initially but it certainly
would not have to be changed every 5 years and hopefully would not produce
places where water drips directly onto stuff that should be kept dry.
