<<<One thing we seem to have problems finding is someone in the
Annapolis/St Michaels area (or all of Maryland!) to replace the overhead
in the salon. It is stained beyond repair with oily soot. The material
is a white vinyl that is held in place by cross pieces of finished wood
that have been screwed to the ceiling support,>>>>
When we had a new helm chair installed on the bridge, the canvas guy was
the one called in to pull down and replace the overhead vinyl. He said
it is the same stuff they use in cars. Maybe you could try an
upholstery shop that replaces car head liners.
