Johnson<https://library.princeton.edu/about/staff-directory/valencia-l-johnson> and I'm working with Amanda Ferrara<https://libguides.bc.edu/burns/staff> on an article regarding access and restriction policies at nationally-based university archives and special collections. Amanda and I are writing today to request your assistance. This multi-article project will be an assessment of the access restrictions at a sampling of repositories in order to capture the current state of our field's standing, later positioning that in conversation with a historical review of past decision making. Ultimately, we are interested in circulating the variety of viewpoints and reasonings that access policies represent.
