Game Day Parking Restrictions

Game days during the football season cause lots of parking problems in the
neighborhoods adjacent to the stadium.  Our standard illegal parking fines
are actually cheaper than paying for parking in some of the commercial
lots.

Do any of your cities have ordinances providing for higher fines on game
days only?  If so, do you post additional signs or otherwise alert the
public when the higher fines are in effect?  Do you have any other
specific game day parking restrictions that have proven effective?
