Hi all,
The Chelsea Open this weekend is the second Hudson River YRA regatta of the
spring series. There is still time to register at
http://www.chelseayacht.org/chelseaopen2019.html
Friday afternoon looks like a great day to leave work early and motor up to
CYC. The current is favorable for a lunch time departure:
Fri -- 12:08 PM 0.00 knots Slack
Fri -- 02:07 PM 0.77 knots Max Flood
- Division 1 (Spin PHRF < 130) has four boats and with three of the top
finishers from last year retired from HRYRA (Breakaway, Breakout, Vixen)
the competition for hardware is wide open.
- Division 2 (Spin PHRF > 130) has 8 boats registered so racing will be
good.
- Division 3 (Non-Spin) has only 2 boats so far so there is definitely
an opportunity to podium.
Chelsea puts on a great party on Saturday and this is an opportunity to
pick up NBC Overall Cruising Championship points. Remember, this year there
will be only 1.
