Broadway Center's Live Large Tacoma Dream Home Raffle
will Hold second Early Drawing on April 15
Tacoma, Wash. -Tacoma's Broadway Center for the Performing Arts will
provide someone a very significant return on tax day when they draw the
winning ticket for the LIVE LARGE: Tacoma Dream Home Raffle Early
Drawing. This drawing marks the second opportunity to win $10,000
leading up to the Grand Prize Drawing on June 26. Anyone purchasing a
raffle ticket through 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 15 is eligible for the
$10K prize to be awarded at 9 p.m. that evening.
All proceeds from the LIVE LARGE: Tacoma Dream Home Raffle, which kicked
off on New Years Eve 2010, go toward building a rainy day fund to help
sustain the performing arts in the South Puget Sound.
Tickets for the raffle are $99 each, with the grand prize drawing
scheduled for June 26. The grand prize is a Tacoma Dream Home with The
Commencement Condominiums or up to $600,000 cash depending upon ticket
sales, and a minimum award of $25,000 cash. First prize is a three-year
lease on a 2010 Toyota Prius or $7,500 cash; second prize is a 10-day
cruise for two on Holland America Line or $5,000 cash; third prize is a
seven night stay in Bali, Indonesia or $1,500 cash; and fourth prize is
$1,000 cash.
"Ticket sales have been steady, and really, the odds of winning remain
remarkable," said David Fischer, Broadway Center's executive director.
"It's wonderful to see that people are supporting the arts, and having
fun doing it."
A maximum number of 34,000 tickets will be sold, making the odds of
winning one of the seven major prizes less than one in 5,000. Winners of
both early bird drawings remain eligible for the grand prize drawing.
