Migrating Hawks: Osprey- 20, Sharp-shinned Hawk- 37, Coopers Hawk- 2,
Broad-winged Hawk- 4, American Kestrel- 21, Merlin- 1, Peregrine Falcon- 1,

Non-raptors: 70 species of birds seen from the migration site.
Ruby-throated Hummingbird- 26, Canada Warbler, Wilson's Warbler,
Tenessee Warbler, Eastern Kingbird, Virginia Rail, and Common Moorehen

Monarch Butterflies: 187

Shillabeer, and G Duncan

Visitors: 40+

Directions: Exit from the 401 at Brock St. in Whitby, Go south on Brock St.
to Victoria St.
Go west on Victoria St to Halls Road. Go south on Halls Road to the second
walkway
to Cranberry Marsh.
