introduction:

I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the History and East Asian Languages
Program at Harvard University. I study the sociocultural history of
middle-period China, focusing on the dynamic relations between literati
networks and literati culture. My current project investigates the
transformation of Jiangxi literati networks from the thirteenth to
fifteenth centuries. I received my MA degree in History from National
Taiwan University, studying the tensions between the agricultural cycle,
the market, and the state's financial schedule throughout the Song
dynasty.

Yours sincerely,
Ya Zuo
