Atypical Little Blue Heron

Atypical LITTLE BLUE HERON with light and dark stripes on neck and bright orangish legs, flitting in the trees over the pond opposite and below the garden plots.  About noon.
The little blue/tricolor mix?
Bauer Park is three to four miles from Hammonasset.

I saw the Hammonasset hybrid yesterday around 11:00 with another birder. It
was determined to defend the two ponds by Meigs Point from a little blue
heron. Its legs are a drab greenish color, not bright orange.
