Though it is indeed early in the year, for those who plan well in advance, I thought I would pass along the following lock maintenance schedule just released by the USACOE Nashville District. All locks are on the Tennessee River. Chickamauga Lock, mile 471.0 - closed March 20 through April 10, 2007 Wilson Auxiliary Lock, mile 259.4 - closed June 5 through June 21, 2007. The main lock will remain open. Pickwick Main Lock, mile 206.7 - closed July 10 through July 31, 2007. The auxiliary lock will remain open. Kentucky Lock, mile 22.4 - closed August 28 through September 20, 2007. Full details and updates will be posted on the Waterway Guide website.
