Question about Symmetricom ET6000

Time-Nuts-

I have a Symmetricom ET6000 which reports acquisition but no date/time or oscillator lock. The front panel says "mode D7", which I don't find mentioned in the ET6000 Users Guide or the Encore Users Guide.

Anyone know what "mode D7" means?

I understand that this unit has a TCXO and is not known for great stability, but apparently the firmware can be swapped out for an OCXO version. Does anyone have access to that firmware?

Thanks-

Jim

The D7 could mean it's in 'Dynamic' mode. I suggest a complete reset
(hold menu key down and power on) to start with.
Then you'll know what you're starting with.
The TCXO units aren't bad, but the OCXO units are 'better', depending on
what you need.

I have firmware - I'll send it off list.
