Artist Trust Announces 2018 Arts Innovator Award for Washington Artists SEPTEMBER 15, 2017 Deadline: November 13, 2017 The Artist Trust<http://www.artisttrust.org/> is accepting applications for its 2018 Arts Innovator Award, an annual program that supports Washington State generative artists demonstrating innovation in their art practice. Grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded to two Washington artists working in any discipline who are originating new work, experimenting with new ideas, taking risks, and pushing the boundaries in their field. A letter of recommendation is required. To be eligible, individual artists must be Washington State residents age 18 or older and have a minimum of five years in their professional art careers. The trust will begin accepting applications on September 25, 2017. Applications must be received no later than November 13, 2017.
