Saturday 7/10: • Diamond in the Rough Triathlon (Perryville, MD): Ginny Angus will be participating in her first triathlon (Olympic distance) as a Gator! • Musselman Sprint Triathlon (Geneva, NY): Rosemary Keller and Renee Silitti will be kicking things off on a big weekend in Geneva! • CLUB SPONSOR EVENT: Boogie with Scoogie (Lahaska, PA): Club sponsor Scoogie Events offers their next event, which is SOLD OUT! This event includes an 8K run, 5K run, 2 mile fun run, and kids' 1/2 mile run! Sunday 7/11: • CLUB SIGNATURE EVENT: Women's Philadelphia Duathlon (Philadelphia): Club sponsor DelMo Sports provides one of our annual club signature events! This year's event has been converted to a duathlon that will begin with a one mile run, followed by a 9 mile bike ride, and ending with a 5k run that will feature the Gators hydration station, which is the only station on the course! Our athletes racing include Brittany Acosta, Jill Basile, Karen Dieciedue, Lindsay Inger, Beth Kramer, Diane Lynch, Lynn Seuberling, Gina Stango, Beth Wysoczanski, and past Gator, Meg Huang! Our volunteers include Lindsay (Saturday) and the following short-handed crew on Sunday... Keith Ho, Paul Kratzinger, Don Mack (and Lisa), Jeffrey Stango, and Vince Bellino... One final plea for volunteers as we are significantly short-handed and could really use 3-4 more people (ages 7 and up) to keep the field hydrated... Shawn O'Malley and Jennifer Raab and also Angela Epelbaum who will be competing in her FIRST 70.3! • New York City Triathlon (New York): The other athlete that will be racing in New York state on Sunday participates in this classic Olympic distance event... Go Michael Metry! • Stone Harbor Triathlon (Stone Harbor, NJ): Three Gators will be racing in this 1/4 mi swim, 11 mi bike, 5k run sprint distance event... Go Jason Brannen, Kerri Brannen, and Christina Pitchford! • XTERRA EX2 Offroad Triathlon (Flintstone, MD): Chris Townsley continues his journey on the road less traveled... Tuesday 7/13: • French Creek Racing's OWS Race #4 (Norristown, PA): Chris Acosta and Chris Townsley will be competing in the 1/2 mile OWS race while David Stone will complete the virtual tri that includes the OWS followed by a 9 mile SRT bike ride and a 1.5 mile run!
