Do 600' spools of 3/4" nylon come with a forklift?

Should do :-) Each spool weighs 90 lbs.
We buy several miles worth of 3/4 inch rope per year on large reels. (Some
as large as 1000 feet, but it is available in any size real you want.) We
use forklifts for handling them; but you are right that they really are not
that heavy. We are just that lazy. :-)
We carried two 600 foot spools of half inch up to the top of the VAB the
other day, which gave us just enough to set up a block and tackle for
hoisting things from the ground. One guy did not have any trouble carrying
one reel.
The best place to buy large spools of rope is from a commercial rigging
company that services your mobile crane market. Forget all your marine
outlets. You will even have a much better choice, in that you can buy it in
different degrees of softness, depending on how you like your rope for
splicing and handling.
