Hello everyone, Merry Holidays.
I am young at test gear knowledge, keep this in mind.
I'd like to calibrate some older test gear, and one
of the required items that I don't have, is an AC
voltage source -- w/adjustable volts and frequency.
Ebay items cost $200-$2000.
But I figure I can send an adjustable sine wave into a
"power amplifier", to get what I need......and an
analog AC voltmeter, to read/check the voltage on the
amp's output.
Does this sound correct?
Are there other ways ?
thanks,
=Randy=

Hello Randy,
Can you give more information on the equipment you are trying to calibrate ? For example the make and model
and what level of accuracy you expect to reach. What is your intended use of this equipment, i.e., general
hobby use or more serious purposes ?
