300 CT Birds!

By The Way,
300 out of this year's 328 species (91%) is a very good number, imho, so i
hope nobody misinterprets my comments (apologies if it came across the
wrong way).
Most of those other 28 species were seen very briefly, and then quickly
gone, never to be seen again this year.
That's life, at least, that's a Birder's Life  (-:
Lots of good fun, but never 100% on every rare bird pursued in a big-year.
300 is GREAT!!  Congratulations Abby and Steve.

Congratulations indeed!
The  SYL State Year List for 2022 is currently up to 328...
https://ebird.org/region/US-CT?yr=cur&m=&rank=lrec
but it is really impossible for one person to see all of those 328.
300 is a great accomplishment.
And that Smith's Longspur (or the Gray Kingbird) is the likely BOTM bird
of the month for October, unless something even better comes along in the
next ten days...

Congratulations! I knew you would make it back in August. And you still
have two months to go. I'd say, 310!

Wow! Well done! When I heard about the latest rarities that have been

showing up, I said to my hubby that I hoped that Steve and Abby got to

see

them all!

Congratulations to Abby Sesselberg and Steve Mayo for reaching 300

CT

birds in one year!  It’s only October too.  They worked hard for it!  A
great accomplishment!
