Greetings,

I’m looking for a GPSDO solution approximating the TRAC-8835-2M  / 9100 composite 5MHz / 1PPS. While Occam’s razor dictates simply procuring the TRAC unit, 7 of them is out of the budget. Any thoughts?

Best,

KJB

The datasheet says "combined 5MHz and 1PPS signal 25% duty cycle with
one 75% duty cycle at the 1PPS epoch", should be a pulsed 5MHz with a
long pulse at the PPS, should be easy to implement in programmable
logic.

Hi

Unless you can find the TRAC units used / cheap (good luck with that …), some sort of MCU, FPGA, or random logic attached to a more normal GPSDO is your only option. An output waveform this weird simply isn’t something you would find on a product from somebody else.
