My name is Ingrid Foutz and I am the founder of an organization called SUP Girls Colorado.  SUP Girls Colorado (SUPGCO) is a community of women and men who stand up paddle or want to learn. In addition to SUP we look for opportunities for our members to try other activities like bike, ski and climb. We do this by identifying other clubs and organizations in the community that offer these types of activities and direct our members to your events and activities.

Our typical member is a 35-60 year old female but we welcome men as well. We have a lot moms and fitness enthusiasts. We also have a lot of women who are new to fitness. SUPGCO promotes camaraderie through group paddling events, fundraisers and community service. SUPGCO has a non- profit component, which includes organizing fundraisers and helps with trail clean up along the river.

SUP Girls believes in community. Now that we have expanded to the Salida area we would like the opportunity to meet other clubs and organizations in the community. We would like to support your cause and events as well as provide opportunities for community members to experience SUP.

Two of our affiliate stores in Salida include, Salida Mountains Sports and RMOC. SUP Girls is teaming with our affiliate stores to offer a free SUP demo with an after mixer at SMS. Woods Distillery is offering whiskey tasting and there will be an opportunity to meet individuals from other clubs in the community. SUP Girls would like to personally like to invite your members to join us on Friday May 15 from 3-6. Participants will meet SUP Girls, RMOC and SMS employees at Franz Lake for a FREE SUP demo from 3-4:30. This demo will be very 'intro' level. Boards and wetsuits will be provided and there will be two certified SUP instructors on hand to offer instruction. At 4:30 we will head over to Salida Mountain Sports for whiskey tasting courtesy of Woods Distillery, video clips from RMOC and a discussion of lifestyle clothing from Salida Mountain Sports. We hope you will join us at this fun community event. I will be sending more information that can forward to your members if you are interested.

Please contact me if you have any questions,
Thank you for your shared vision,
