Drop-in Jewelry Making Workshop with artist Ashley Westpheling

Visitors will create a mixed-media collage brooch inspired by Well-Worn Narratives: The Mia McEldowney Jewelry Collection at TAM!  Stop by between 5:30-7:30.
Admission to the museum is free. Cost for the workshop is $10/Non-members, $5/Members.
About the Artist: Ashley Westpheling is a Seattle-based artist hailing from Lawrenceville, Georgia. In 2014 she earned her BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Jewelry/Metals. She has previously served as an Assistant Curator and Event Coordinator at the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art. Ashley has exhibited works at the Lyndon House Arts Center and the Lamar Dodd School of Art. She is currently working with a very different medium while building houses as a Construction Volunteer Lead for Habitat for Humanity, Seattle-King County.

Free Third Thursday at Tacoma Art Museum is sponsored by Columbia Bank. The museum is free to all visitors between 5 - 8 pm on the Third Thursday of every month! Stop by this week on July 21. Note: Parking does have an hourly fee.
