Hello there,

I work as General Manager at an arts organisation based at an historic house in Arbroath, Scotland. Hospitalfield House was one of the first Schools of Art in Scotland and has monastic roots as a mediaeval pilgrims hospital. The historic collections are composed of over 300 paintings, alongside furniture, textiles, domestic ceramics in addition to library and archive collections. We have all of our collections management information listed on an expansive excel spreadsheet with supplementary mages files held locally. We would like to upload all of this data to a Collections Management System and we are considering whether Collections Space would be right for us. I would be grateful to correspond with someone who was able to offer some guidance and advise, especially from relatively small independent museums based in the UK.

If you could offer advice that would be much appreciated.

Looking forward to further correspondence.

Thanks and best wishes,

Scott Byrne

Scott,

Thanks for getting in touch. Why don't you respond to me directly, and we can set up a time to talk more in depth about your collection and how CSpace can work for you.

Thanks,

Megan
