Solicitors:

PML's Annual Meeting is set for Lancaster October 4 to 6.  On the morning of October 5, there will be a Solicitors' Roundtable discussion of matters of common concern to Pennsylvania Municipal Solicitors.  Similar in approach to the roundtable held in Philadelphia at the PML annual meeting last year, the discussion on October 5 will be informal and focused on practical approaches to very current problems.  For example, the current draft agenda includes the following topics:

a)      Law enforcement body cameras
b)      Policy-community relations (the Ferguson and DNC experiences)
c)      Insurance coverages for municipalities
d)      The business privilege refund claims for commercial rental properties
e)      Right-to-Know problems (volume, scope and management)
We expect that attendees will share insights, practical solutions, and the like, again in a roundtable setting.

We welcome suggestions on additional topics from you.  Please feel free to send your ideas to me at wwarren@saul.commailto:wwarren@saul.com or to Gail Markovitz GMarkovitz@pml.orgmailto:GMarkovitz@pml.org directly.
